What should you do when your nose piercing disappears?!

Question: What should you do when your nose piercing disappears.?
I got my nose pierced four days ago and it seems to be healing properly. Only problem is that the stud is beginning to sink below the surface of my skin. I'm not really sure what to do. When I got it done, I was told to wait two weeks to remove the stud, but I guess I should get a bigger stud in this case.? I'm not sure if this would be a bad idea; I don't want to infect the wound.Health Question & Answer

GO!! No RUN to the place you got it done at they can change it for you. What happened was the stud they put in for you didnt allow any room for the swelling which of course happens. So they need to change it to a bigger no correction longer stud. And you will be ok but try to go ASAP! If you dont want to go to the same place you got it done, or did a home piercing go to another place or a proffesional to exchange it. Once the swelling has gone down you can go back and they should give you a smaller one. The place I got my piercings at they explained this to me and did all the exchanging for free. Good Luck!Health Question & Answer

When you clean it do you wiggle it and slide it around some.? I would say you need to get a bigger stud. Keep the same gage just get one that is longer. I took mine out a couple of day's after I got mine done, to put in a new stud. It bled some and hurt a little bit. But you need to do it. Because your skin can grow over it. Just get you a new peice and you will be straight!Health Question & Answer

i've had my nose pierced for 15 years. sounds like u need a longer stud, can't u push it up through the underside of ur nose.. if u have to take it out it'll hurt a bit & get red, but as lond as u are careful that ur hands & jewlery are clean, an infection isn't likely. i used to have to take mine out every day for school, even the first day i pierced it, never got an infection and i've left it out for years at a time, the hole has never gone away.Health Question & Answer

call the place that pierced your ears, look on google, ask a friend or just surf the web. What I do with my piercing but this is on my ear, my hole closes up alot so i take a earring, hold the sharp edge right on the hole and push it in harder minute by minute. it may hurt but it should not be excruiating. then finally the earring will go through and let it stay there for awhile like for the rest of the day and it should reopen just start wearing studs/earrings moreHealth Question & Answer
