What's the best way to get some relief?!

Question: What's the best way to get some relief.?
I quit smoking cigarettes over two months ago and have had nothing but problems since. (I even considered smoking again!! ha-ha) The latest has been some congestion and a very dry hard cough. I believe I coughed too hard, which caused me to throw up blood. It was bright red which I assume means it has not been sitting in my stomach.

I did go to the ER, and after 5 hours I was sent home. No medicine, no do this do that. They said I was fine. I did have an abortion just 2 weeks ago with the medicine Mifeprex and I forget the name of the second set of pills. Please, do not judge me. I'm only looking for some open minded people to give me some answers. I am still bleeding vaginally, so they could not check if there were traces of blood in my urine or poop.

I'm concerned because today I am having severe discomfort in my stomach and my back. I understand it might just be from coughing.

I am under a lot of pressure and do not handle stress well. And being sick this much is not helping. I have gone to the doctor, several times. They prescribe me some medication, I feel fine for a while and then I'm back to being sick.

Could this be a problem.? Or is it just because my body has gone through a lot in a short amount of time.? I don't want to drown my body in pills any more.

Are there any home remedies, or something that does not involve yet another prescription to get me back in the health lane.?

Thank you. Health Question & Answer

Wow, you have been through a lot. Are you allowed to take a bath.? If so, do that. Try to relax. All of the stress you have can't be helping your situation.

Mediate, pray, read a book. Take some time to yourself and just chill. Try to do this at least once a day for awhile. Drink some echinacea tea to help boost your immune system, and take a zinc supplement for the same reason. Don't forget to get a good night's sleep (8 hours or more) and watch a comedy or hang out with someone who makes you laugh. Health Question & Answer

Dear young lady: Go back to your health care provider as soon as possible, when you stop bleeding for a complete check-up and different drugs for pain. And good luck in the future.Health Question & Answer

You have to be low in iron after losing all that blood. When I was throwing up blood with a stomach ulcer, my doctor put me on 325mg of iron 2 times/day. The iron is very cheap and can be purchased at most stores. The ferrous sulfate made me sick at my stomach, so I took ferrous gluconate and it worked. I immediately felt better after a few days and will continue taking it. I had my hemoglobin checked and it was 8.5 while a male should be at least 14 and a female at least 12.
