ok i got an ingrown toenail in august cuz i trimmed it wrong and now i just almost got rid of it bc the nail was really long and so ive cut v and stuff in the nail and it helpped but i went to put cotton under the toenail and my toenail broke cuz i have thin toenails so i have a problem with pickin that stuff so i picked off the rest the toenail cuz it was bothering me and now its starting to ingrow again and it hurts any help would be great plzzz!!!!!!!!!!!!!Health Question & Answer

Ohh, that really hurts! I've had so many of those!
What you can do is soak it in warm water, with baking soda if it is not open, or water alone. You should see a podiatrist, but if you cannot go, just wrap it in gauze, with lots of petroleum jelly. It will soften up the skin, so you can see the problem nail, and possibly make it easier to have the foot doctor remove.
I don't really recommend this, but if you must, you may have to remove the problem nail. If my dad does that for me, I have a pillow in front of my face. I do know it will hurt, and bleed. There will also be a point on the nail at the doctor, or at home.
To prevent these nasty little buggers, try not to cut you toenail the wrong way, or stub you toe.

i had one of those and to fix it i kept cleaning it and cutting it and eventually it grew in the right way.Health Question & Answer
