Besides abnormally cruel menstrual cramps, nothing's coming to mind except ovarian/uterine cysts. Cysts can cause crippling pain, though it's weird that the pain has come and gone. You should definitley see a doctor; unfortunately they'll probably give you a pelvic exam but it won't be nearly as bad as the pain you've been going through. If it's enough to make you cry you've gotta get it checked. Health Question & Answer

Sounds as if you probably have a urinary tract infection. They are fairly common and painful. You will have to go get some antibiotics to treat it. It can spread to the kidneys and cause serious problems so you need to be treated sooner rather than later.

Gosh, I was in such pain before I was diagnosed with Herniated Disc (Lumbar 4-5). The not being able to pee or poop is what they call incontinence, a surgical symptom of a spinal disc problem. (But do ask a spine surgeon about this, coz it might not even be anything related to spine problem.) After a while the pain radiated down to my things, legs and feet. Not long after my arms got affected as well. I was paralyzed. I was advised to have surgery. Went for it and was pain-free....but only for a month. The pain returned! My surgeon couldn't do anything that helped. My pain got worse and I was half-paralyzed this time. Went to see another doctor. He recommended something that I should take. And I got better. Now I am almost pain-free. My doc said if I had seen him earlier before surgery, I would have spared myself from being cut open. But now I'm just thankful to God for the relief.

Best wishes to you.Health Question & Answer
