Answers:
If the pain is severe and it's your upper stomach, there's a possibility that you have an ulcer. You should call you doctor as soon as you can (duh ;o] ), until then take some tums to help settle the gas. What my husband and I do for our son (granted he's two) but he gets really bad gas and his stomach gets tight and painful, so we put a warm (basically as hot as you can stand) facecloth on his stomach and it eases the pain - and calms him down.

Maybe you could try it.? Good luck ;0)Health Question & Answer

look if its very serious then eating burnt toast isnt going to help much. you should probably check in with your GP just in case.

i had stomach pains before and i never thought it was serious, and it ended up being appendicitis.

the myth about burnt toast is actually just normal toast, because its easier to hold down because its a 'solid' food. liquids are much easier to throw back up. if your vomiting/diarrhea then its best not to eat anything, but keep hydrated and if its quite bad buy some rehydration salts to replenish lost nutrition. they can be bought from the chemist and its less then 10 dollars. I think this will aggrevate it even more as it contains gluten which irritates the stomach and intestine.Health Question & Answer
