Anything i can do to help an inflamed shoulder?!

Question: Anything i can do to help an inflamed shoulder.?
i fell the other day and landed on my one hand and had all my weight on the one side then the next day my shoulder on that side was sore when i'd raise it and lift things and stuff but it started going away and was basically gone until i went to the gym and worked out on the rowing machine and ever since then my shoulder has been hurting a lot more. it doesn't seem to be getting any better but it has only been 2 days. i know it's inflamed cause my other shoulder has been seriously inflamed before from playing too much softball and i was put on anti-inflammatory pills and took a break from softball (even though i still can't strain the shoulder too much) and it stopped hurting for the most part. So i was just wondering is there anything i can do to help it rather than go to the doctors.? and do inflamed tendons ever heal fully or will it always be a problem.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
No excessive exercise with that arm for a week.
Ice daily for about 15-20 mins (no longer).
Take some Advil.

Possible that you stretched those muscles out and they were re inflamed from not fully healing from the fall. If it continues after a week of icing and rest, see a Dr. If not, go easy on it for another couple days then try moving into more serious lifting.Health Question & Answer
