Bruising around my toes (pic included) please help?!
Question: Bruising around my toes (pic included) please help.?
in june i got my foot crushed in an accident caused by my friend :( and my foot was squashed into a new shape and i had a broken metatarsal which they fixed and a dislocated big toe which they fixed
but i dont understand why i have really bad bruising around my little toes that is my question .?.?.?.?.?.?

by the way its been about 5 months and it is still badly bruised

and in one of the pics the reason i didnt have a fibre glass cast which i did get was because it was open to let down the swellingHealth Question & Answer

Answers:
The bruising is because being squished into a new shape broke some blood vessels.
It can take many months for bruising to go away completely. The final few blotches seem to take forever. Compared with the first picture, you have less bruising.
Take a pic on the same day of the week, from the same angle, and compare each week's pictures. You will see them slowly going away.Health Question & Answer

My daughter was in a bad accident and her shin was extremely bruised and almost a year after the accident you could see faint bruising. I was told it is traces of the dried blood under the skin. It will go away but with good time. Hope that helpsHealth Question & Answer
