Alot of pain/discomfort?!
Question: Alot of pain/discomfort.?
I need help on a few things, I have mononucleosis, with a sinus infection and I have not been able to breathe out of my nose AT ALL since Sunday. I have tried many things, such as mucinex tablets, mucinex nasal spray, Zyrtec D, steam from boiling water and a neti pot. Absolutely none of these worked, and the Zyrtec D was prescrbied by my doctor. I have also tried letting salt water into my nostril but no effect.
Please someone help me!
I also am having trouble hearing out of my left ear, on monday i was diagnosed with an ear infection, but I would have figured the Z-Pac to have rid of that. I have also been taking Advil/Tylenol and drinking nothing but water!
Anyone at all please help me, Ill try anything to breathe again through my nose cause when breathing through your mouth, it dries up really bad and when you also have strep throat, it is not fun, because I am waking up every half hour just to get a drink and have severe trouble going back to sleep. I even wake up in the middle of the night after taking a Lunesta.Health Question & Answer

Call your doctor and ask for a different antibiotic. Some people have bad reactions to zithromax (myself included). If you are feeling worse, you definitely need to relay this information to your doctor. also, mono can make you feel awful for a long time too, again this is something to discuss with your doctor.
