Question: Recovering from muscle aches in the upper body region..?
I just did some work out yesterday in gym.
Was the first time I went to gym and did some extreme workouts.
So now I'm having muscles aches on my chest, shoulder, and the arms and the joins of the arms.
And I can't straighten my arms as it will hurt.Health Question & Answer

That's normal.
When you work out, microscopic muscle fibers tear. That's why you're sore. When they heal, they'll heal stronger.
Just give it a couple days and eat lots of protein.
If you're looking to build muscle, you should eat at least 1 Gram of Protein per pound you weigh each day. It helps build your muscles stronger.
Work out a different part of your body each day to give the other parts time to recover. One day, work out your upper body, the next day work out your lower body, etc.

Be sure to stretch before and after your workout. Stretching is just as important as the workout itself. Drink plenty of water. But the BEST medicine for sore muscles is to have someone massage them for you. ;-) oh yea!Health Question & Answer
