Question: With an ACL tear,,,is it common to have numbness in my leg.?

Just wondering if it is normal to have tingling and numbness in my upper leg and lower leg after an acl tear.

I had an ACL tear, and yes the tingling and numbness are normal, at least for me. I also had extreme pain, and it felt like the nerves were right under the skin. I could barely touch it. It was very sensitive to the touch. Are you going to get it repaired.? I didn't, and when I got older (a lot older than you), I had to have a knee replacement. When I first fell and tore the ACL, I didn't even realize it, because it didn't hurt much at first.Health Question & Answer
