Question: Owww, caught my mole on my zip.?
Okay, i got a mole that hangs off a little on my neck, i turned quickly and i felt a sharp pain on my mole, i looked in the mirror and there was redness around it, and stuff. It only hurts when i prod it about. The color of the mole ain't changed or anything. It's just a little sore. Will it heal.? It's so annoying! *_*. It will definately heal in a few weeks. To speed the process, apply lavender neat (on cotton wool, but don't apply neat if you have sensitive skin) to the mole, or purchase aloe vera gel, both of which you can get in any health store. also keep an eye on the mole itself throughout your lifetime in case it starts to change colour (potentially indicating skin cancer, unlikely but possible).

~ hi ~! Wow, I bet that hurt A LOT! I believe that is what is considered a "skin-tag". My husband gets those. He has had a dermatologist remove his and actually it's a very painless process, I imagine less then snagging them. Because the Doctor numbs the area before he removes them. Insurance is weird (our insurance wouldn't cover the removal). I guess because it's not considered necessary. It's seems like something that would be covered. But, the good news is, it was fairly reasonable to have them removed.
As far as the pain is concern, you might try a little ice just to numb the area (it should help a little). also, I would try some antibiotic ointment (comes in generic). Just to guard against the area getting infected.

In reality if what you have is a skin tag, you can simply cut it off. Sterilize a pair of nail clippers that are large enough to fit over it and just snip it off!! All it takes is some courage and one good snip..problem gone!
It may bleed for a few minutes, but really not much pain and won't last long, either.

It is obviously going to be a nuisance in future . I would burn it off myself with strong acetic acid (no, vinegar won't work ! )Best go to the doctor and get him to do it.Health Question & Answer
