What could cause your ankle to have a warm sensation continually?!

Question: What could cause your ankle to have a warm sensation continually.?
I sit at a desk during the day for around 6-7 hours. My legs are normally achy in the shins from sitting. I know it may be nerve problems, but what else could it be.? Its not painful, just warm waves.. And for you smarty idiots... NO MY FOOTS NOT ASLEEP!!!Health Question & Answer

Smarty idiots.?.? I like that. Anyway...Exercising your feet while you sit will help immensely. Stretching, rolling the foot, etc... And a worm bath..lolHealth Question & Answer

Phlebitis maybe.? It could be that the blood is pooling in your legs because of the lack of movement. If possible, try to elevate them under your desk - even having your feet up 6-8 inches can help with the blood flow. If you can, get up and walk around every hour or so. Even if it's just a few minutes, it will help.

People who fly a lot, or like you, work at a desk job, get this kind of thing. The veins become inflamed and it can be itchy sometimes, warm to the touch, etc. If untreated or ignored, it can lead to blood clots...so monitor it and if need be, see your doctor.Health Question & Answer

thick socks.? lol

I get the same problem at school sometimes.
It usually feels better after I get up and walk around...
I think it's a circulation problem, but maybe you should get up from your desk for a restroom break or get a drink of water sometimes just to get the blood flow back to normal.

I'm no expert though so don't quote meHealth Question & Answer

It sounds to me like some sort of a fluid buildup or maybe even subdermal inflammation. I don't want to alarm you, but it's best that you get it looked at. Health Question & Answer
