Question: Quit Smoking... Help.?
Ive decided to quit smoking, its been 16hrs since my last one.... any advise on how to control the cravings.?!.?!.?Health Question & Answer

I tried to quit multiple times and it's hard.
There are a lot of things available to help with the cravings, but I've never tried them.... so sorry... I'm no help there.
My advise is to keep yourself busy, and try not to think about it, as hard as it can be. PLEASE!!! Just hang in there and in a couple days, if you feel like having one, you'll either taste the cigarette, and think "YUCK", and you'll be done, or unfortunately you just might pick it back up.

You can try the gum and candy they make, but they're really expensive.
My god mother quit smoking, and she kept a HUGEE bag of butter scotch candies EVERYWHERE!! and whenever she got a craving, she would eat some. It's good to keep yourself busy, and have something for your mouth to do.. like chew gum.. butterscotch.. etc.
I know a lot of people who quit smoking/tried to quit. .. and they all say that cold turkey is the only way to do it. so don't waste your monkey on the patches gums etc.
