My eye keeps on twitching?!
Question: My eye keeps on twitching.?
I am seeing the doctor, however, I have to wait until after school. Last night after washing my face with cold cream & a clean face cloth, my right eye kept on twitching, it isn't noticeable or anything near being some sort of spazm, however, when I look in the mirror, it's like my lashes twitch just ever so slightly. It feels really strange, has anyone ever experienced something like this.?Health Question & Answer
Answers:
Yes, I have suffered from "eye twitching" for about six years now, on and off. Generally, eye twitching is caused from a lack of sleep, stress or giant change in one's life.
Eye twitching is also known as Blepharospasm, or eye spasms. It is almost always mild, but it can be severe, especially for Tourette's patients.
Common causes for eye spasms include:
Corneal irritation or injury
Stress
Lack of sleep
Fatigue
Prolonged staring or eye strain
Neurological disorders
Possibly Hereditary
There is no successful cure for eye twitching, although several treatment options may reduce its severity. Drug therapy, medications (usually cause unpredictable results), botox are some "cures".
If you suffer an occasional bout of eye twitching you probably won't require any specific treatment. If however, your eye twitching results from stress or anxiety, your health provider may be able to assist you in sleeping better with medicaton, or some stress-reliever.
Good luck, it is a strange thing to have your eye twitch like that... I am sure you've found that it's more annoying than anything else!Health Question & Answer

Yes I get this normally after a friday night when I haven't slept properly, and have to work early the next day.
It's very annoying, it signifies lack of sleep. Try catch a few extra Zzz's at night.
Good luck xoxoHealth Question & Answer

That's most probably due to stress, apart from lack of sleep. I was prescribed Vitamin B for that, it worked.Health Question & Answer
