Body temperature changes?!

Question: Body temperature changes.?
Just a question of curiosity. My body temperature is normally around 96.8 but has been fluctuating between 94 and 99.8 for a few weeks (the time frame I've been paying attention to it). Last night it was 99.6 in a room roughly 60-65 degrees. Same room temperature this morning, it was 94 and I've had the chills (I've had them on and off for the past few months, sparking my interest). Any ideas as to what would cause this.?Health Question & Answer

It is hard to say what causes temperature changes. It sounds like you may be getting the flu now with the chillls and low body temp but your temp is abnormally low now. If you didn't have the chills I would say don't worry about it but this has been going on for some time now so I would make an appointment with my Dr and have a talk with him as to why the temp changes so much. I carry a low temp all the time 96.6 and it has even dropped to 95.0 but never as low as 94 and that is a little too low. You may have a thyroid problem or a problem with circulation. Get it checked. My cousin just passed away a month ago. He was 48. He had gone to the Dr 2 weeks earlier because he kept passing out and his lips would turn blue. The Dr gave him a clean bill of health, 2 weeks later he died of a heart attack. The vessels leading to the heart were completely closed with plaque, that's what killed him. Of course, there will be a lawsuit against the Dr who did not do his job properly. So go see the Dr and if necessary get some tests run to make sure everything is ok. Best of luck.Health Question & Answer
