I slept for 14 hours, help?!

Question: I slept for 14 hours, help.?
Monday to Wednesday I get up at 7am go to college and get back at about 6pm then get about 7 hours sleep. I'm 17 years old. I then get Thursday to Sunday off, most of my days off I get 12 hours sleep which is still far too much but today I got 14!!! It's not like I'm just lazy and don't get out of bed I actually sleep for that long. I'm not depressed, I may have the odd beer but im not huge on alcohol and I have never done drugs, I only feel a little down getting up and realizing half the day is gone...

Any suggestions to help.? Health Question & Answer

I would say aim for 8 hours of sleep EVERY night, no more, no less, and stick to it no matter what day of the week it is. Set your alarm clock and make sure you're consistent so you can get your body on a a schedule. You might need more or less sleep than 8 hours (all depends on the person), so if you find you are getting too much or possibly too little, adjust the time you sleep by 15 minute increments each night until you find the amount of sleep your body needs to function. Good luck!Health Question & Answer

You probably just had to catch up on your sleep. Because those are very long days filled with homework and stuff. So you're just getting you're complete energy back. There is probably nothing to worry about.Health Question & Answer
