Question: Piercing Pain In My Head....?

I just scratched the top of my head, and I had a piercing pain, it hurt so bad!! It stopped after about two minutes, and it doesn't hurt when I touch it, just when I scratch it. I can't go to the doc now, considering it's 11 at night, so should I go tomorrow.? I'm pretty sure I didn't bang it, and no blood.Health Question & Answer

in the UK we have a telephone service for concerns like this. The trouble is, as soon as you mention any sort of head injury they cover themselves by telling us to go to our A&E department (emergency room). Straining your eyes staring at your computer monitor might not be the best thing though.Health Question & Answer
