I had a mat burn on my knee from wrestling that turned in to a full blown cut. It's a little bigger than a quarter, and ive tried wrapping it up, taping it up, bandaids, and wearing knee pads (which just rub it and make it worse) but nothing stays on during practice because wrestlers are always using there knees so what ever is on it gets pulled off easily especially cuz the sweat gets rid of the stick. I was wondering if there is a way to HEAL THIS CUT OVERNIGHT because i the only thing i have for wrestling tomorrow is a 4 mile run cuz its thanksgiving.?Health Question & Answer

It won't heal overnight, and wrestling will continue to open it up. You can try super glue or 'New Skin' (they're basically the same thing) to stop the bleeding for a while. It generally won't rub off. If the wound does break open, consider purchasing some stiptic powder from a pet store. The package says it's 'not intended for human use', but that's bullshit. UFC uses stiptic powder all the time.
As for the pain: remember that pain is just your body's way of telling you to slow down and not move the injury until it heals. You can't heal a cut overnight unless that's your super power. The best thing I can suggest is find some sort of bandage, Nexair (or Nexcare) for example, that completely covers the wound. Put the bandage on, wrap it with an ace and then wear your knee pads. When you shower, take the bandage off and let it "air out" over night. You can not heal it over night. You can go to the drug store and get some new skin, comes in a bottel or a spray. It is used on wounds that you want to close. It will close it for tomorrow and aid in the healing process. If it is Truly a cut then you can use derma bond (its like super glue) to close the edges and then use new skin over the top to close the rest of it this should hold up against your sweating. Nope, can't heal it over night but make sure it's well moisturized with either vitamin E liquid tablits (poke a hole in it and get the gel out) or use bag balm (made for cattle utters, good for all animals, cuts, scrapes, dry skin, etc) or you could also try just some neosporian. But make sure it's well moisturized and covered for about a day or so then leave it uncovered and let it scab up. Dont pick at it for about 2 days then you may do what you wish with it.
