Pain in my upper left thigh?!

Question: Pain in my upper left thigh.?
I don't remember when I first had it but I remember at school at 3rd period when I sat down I had a really bad pain in my upper left thigh. It hurt to sit on the chair. I thought maybe it was my tights, because I made a hole in my tights by accidents (Blame boring Geography) and I pulled them up and thought they had pulled abit at my leg or something. (Daft, I know) But I've still got it and it isn't bad when I'm walking but when I'm sitting down it hurts. I don't know how to describe it. It's abit like a burning sensation, and it feels like a brouise but there isn't a brouise there. Like you know how when you have a brouise and when you press it it hurts.? It's abit like that I think. This is abit too much information but it is just outside where my knickers are on the top of my upper left thigh. I'm sitting on my bed now and it isn't hurting as much, but still is.

Anyone have any ideas as to what this is.? I'm gonna look on NHS Direct in a mo and see if there is a self help guide there.

Anyone know if this is just something not serious or should I monitor it or something.? Anything I can do to stop it from hurting as much.? Thanks, peace out xoxo ?Health Question & Answer
