okay so i have tmj, i only got diagnosted with it about a month ago,and ive had it for atleast a year that i can remember. im going back to the ortho next week, cuz my primary dentist looks like he has no idea wat tmj is, she wants to make me a night guard..? does anyone have that for tmj, and does it help.? or what other option should i try to help this, and is tmj ever cured.? or do you always have it for the rest of your life.?Health Question & Answer

I hated my night guard.
I just didn't work for me.
Went to a dentist who did some hypnosis and taught me to self-hypnotise - best thing every - no more TMJ pain because if I get even a bit sore I use the self-hypnosis and it works.Health Question & Answer
