What should I do with my ankle/leg?!
Question: What should I do with my ankle/leg.?
So I had my right foot under this recliner thing for a leather chair and my friend sat on the recliner thing because she didn't know and it didn't really like swell up really bad or anything like that. It just got a little darker than my other foot...and the indent like when u put your feet up got bigger and it kinda hurts to bend and I have just a little limp.
I HIGHLY doubt its broken considering I walk and stuff.
But, like what should do about it.? Health Question & Answer

I believe that is a sprain. What you should do, it's to try not to move that leg too much, because It will produce more pain. The best and no doubt, it's to massage it , A LOT. I know it will hurt pretty bad while doing it, but it helps a lot. And yeah get a soft brace they help a bit.
Massage it, it helps.

Hmm... it can hurt after bad squeezing too. can you jump on your other leg.? I usually check my brakes like that - if I can jump on the healthy leg and the shaking doesn't hurt badly the damaged one - then I'm ok. also you can try to hit your bones a little bit with your arm (a bit) on one end and see if it hurts in the other or in the middle (it shouldn't). it can be just a kind of haematoma... I think you don't have to do the x-ray now, just wait for a couple of days. it will swell and become worse if brokenHealth Question & Answer
Ahh *points* you answered mine so I shall do my best to answer yours.
Theres a large possibility of a sprain. Get some ACE bandages (they're sort of expensive so i get mine from my school nurse) and wrap it nice and tight--oh dont forget, air it out at night.
Elevate your foot and alternate between icing it for 15 minutes rest w/o ice 15 minutes and ice again then stick your foot in VEEERRY hot water (like ICYHOT! which i suggest using before bed as you air your foot...and wear a sock cause it stinks)
Eh, thats all i got >< thanks!Health Question & Answer

Your foot may very well be broken. It is best to go get an X-ray to be certain that it is not. Go to an Urgent Care facility not the ER. Urgent Care Centers usually have their own X-ray equipment. Your out of pocket cost will also be less. Hopefully, you have insurance. Good luck.Health Question & Answer
If it was me I would get a x ray just in case, but then again I have insurance. It sounds like you could of just bruised the bone cause that hurts a lot. If it doesnt get better at all in a week or two I would go ahead and go to the doc. :-) Hope it gets better!Health Question & Answer
