So sick after surgery. Help Please?!

Question: So sick after surgery. Help Please.?
I had surgery early monday morning. During the surgery, I had 2 ovarian cysts removed, Endometriosis removed and adhesions removed. They sent me home 2 hours after surgery even though I had not gone to the restroom yet. Yesterday I finally peed! I was so happy because I was getting so uncomfortable. I have still been hurting pretty badly. Bleeding until today, was very light. Today its very heavy and almost black looking. Its not my period because Im not due for that until Christmas time.
I have not had a BM yet which Im taking medicine to get me going. Im having severe cramps though due to not having a BM.
Im getting very sick to my stomach and throwing up. Very weak feeling, Shaking, eye sight is getting blurry. I feel as though I'm going to pass out.
My mom wants me to wait it out until morning before I call the Dr. I did call the DR yesterday and all he did was call me in a different pain medicine, nausea pill, and an antibiotic. He told me that by today (thurs) I should feel 100% better. Im feeling worse. Help please!Health Question & Answer

There is no way you should be feeling so ill especially after laparoscopic surgery. First of all they should have had a catheder inserted until you went to the toilet, you shouldnt have been let out of hospital without going first.

I would go to hospital NOW, you sound very ill and I would not wait til the morning. Dont wait until you pass out please, get it checked out. I am not trying to scare you but they will help you,it could be something very simple and thats why they are their.Health Question & Answer

You need to figure out if you are feeling sick mainly because of the BM problem, or if you think it might be from the surgery. If you haven't eaten anything because of the intestinal discomfort, low blood sugar levels (hypoglycemia) can make you feel weak and shaky, and cause blurry vision. This is even worse if you are taking pain medication. If you do not have excessive bleeding (like soaking a full sized pad in 3-4 hours) and do not have a fever, there is probably not something wrong with the surgery. Eat something that is not sugary, and it will probably make you feel better. If you can't hold anything down, you may have no choice but to see a doc.Health Question & Answer
