Low Thyroid??? Please help!?!

Question: Low Thyroid.?.?.? Please help!.?
I had a basic blood panel done which showed my thyroid at 0.69 in a range of 0.45 - 4.5. I have MANY thyroid symptoms, the biggest one being my temp never goes above 97 range and is usually at the 96 and sometimes dips into 95s. I also have irregular periods, low energy, low metabolism (I am not overweight but I don't eat much because I am usually not very hungry), dry skin, nails, hair, break outs, moodiness, lots of fatigue.

Do you think, even though my thyroid was in the normal range but measured on the low end that I could have a low thyroid.?.?

Thanks!Health Question & Answer

Answers:
You should be tested for an underactive thyroid. Not if you've had the two appropriate blood tests. One measures thyroid hormone itself and one measures thyroid-stimulating hormone, or TSH. Your symptoms could be caused by many other problems, including dry environment, medical conditions that dry out the eyes, and certain skin diseases. And good luck.Health Question & Answer
