Answers:
If he was knocked unconscious and is now sleepy, there is a very good chance your dad has a concussion. He needs to get to a walk-in clinic or emergency room immediately.

Do not let him sleep for now and do not give him any medication.

Good luck and good health!Health Question & Answer

It's ok to let let him go to sleep, but you need to keep waking him up every half hour or so to make sure he is ok. He likely has a concussion if he is so sleepy after hitting his head. Did he throw up after he fell.? Any dizziness or nausea.? Let him sleep, but check on him throughout the night by waking him up every so often. If he doesn't wake up easily than you need to take him to the emergency room. Health Question & Answer
