Masterbation while you sleep?!

Question: Masterbation while you sleep.?
I am a 21 year old woman and I have a tendency to wake up a lot masturbating. Is this normal.? I used to sleep walk a lot as a kid, but I grew out of that. I kick in my sleep, talk in my sleep, and sometimes eat in my sleep. It is really starting to bother my boyfriend. He thinks I am sexually unsatisfied, which is not true. I can't really find any information on the internet for this kind of sleep disorder.Health Question & Answer

hm, that seems like its normal for people that sleepwalk and have the tendency to do things in their sleep, that could be completely normal to you.

Most people during their dream sleep (called REM) are doing some action.
Just like with nightmares, an action during REM sleep will be repeated the more you are concerned about it. Your boyfriend should be happy you are not playing soccer in your sleep and you don't snore.
Stop worrying it might be unusual but it is perfectly normal.
