Question: What painkillers can I take.?
I am allergic to Codeine and all NSAIDS (Ibuprofen and so on).

I know that I am able to take paracetomol... but now only in small doses... what other painkillers am I able to take.

Answers:
I can't specifically answer your question - but will refute the Vicodin answer.

Vicodin is a combination of hydrocodone and codeine. I know this from personal experience, I am allergic to the hydrocodone, but okay with codeine.

Percocet is oxycodone and acetaminophen. They are a relatively mild pain killer.

Percogesic is an OTC pain killer - that may be an option.
Good luck.Health Question & Answer

Depending on the amount of pain and why you are in pain, you can take several things, vicadin is a good pain killer. But, If you are in an ungodly amount of pain ask your doctor about PERCOCET (pur-co-set). But please consult a doctor first, I don't think percocet is an NSAID, however, if it isn't and after you have consulted a doctor, realize that it is extremely powerful, and it will make you very tired.Health Question & Answer

I think it's spelled darvocet. Its like supped up tylenol. I had dilaudid for the heavy pain but it never last very long. You have to find a way to relieve the pain with out drugs because the longer you take then the higher the dose will go.Health Question & Answer

The only over the counter medicines you can take if allergic to codeine and ibuprofen are paracetamol and aspirin (if you're not allergic to that too). Others such as Tramadol need a prescription from your doctor.Health Question & Answer

Go to Boots, or another chemist, and ask a qualified pharmacist. advice from here could be way off the mark; ask somebody who actually knows.Health Question & Answer
