What could pain in my ribs be?!

Question: What could pain in my ribs be.?

im a heavy smoker for 6 years. and this morning i noticed my rib bones by my lats (which is located on the back) is sore. its sore when i touch these bones and its only on my right side. my left side ribs are fine.. its just sore and i didnt even work out what can it be.? i am not coughing so i know its not lung cancerHealth Question & Answer

Not coughing doesn't automatically rule out lung cancer. It could be a bruised or fractured rib. Although if you take account for the smoking it could be cancer, emphyzema, or bronchitis. But you should probably see a doctor to really know.Health Question & Answer
