Ankle problem help please ?!

Question: Ankle problem help please .?
Yesturday I was dancing and did a triple turn but came out of it wrong, I then went and sat down on the couch and felt my ankle was really painful. I'm not sure what I've done to it because I didn't feel it until I sat down. I followed R.I.C.E last night and it felt alot better this morning but then got worse after walking on it a bit. How can I sort it out and make my ankles stronger .?.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
try using tubigrip to support your ankle while it heals a bit, but don't wear it at night and don't leave it on for aaaages at a time because it can cut off your circulation. try strengthening exercises when it's not so sore, just search for them onlineHealth Question & Answer

I would just continue to stay off of it and mabey get a compression brace to help with the pain. (it worked for me) also do some streches with it once it starts to feel better. You can go up on your toes a few times just standing on the one foot or you can just try to balance on a pillow.Health Question & Answer

A good idea would be to see your doctor, if the pain continues it could be more serious and you would need it to be examined by a health care Professional.
A good source of advice is at http://www.howsme.com and a qualified physiotherapist could give you some exercises to try and prevent further damage to your ankles.Health Question & Answer

I would probably go to the doctor! The same thing happened to me and they gave me a brace to wear that helped it get stronger! I didnt have to use crutches or a cast!Health Question & Answer
