Why do I have such a fixation with women's panties? ?!

Question: Why do I have such a fixation with women's panties.? .?
I need and want help!

I have a desire to wear panties. I wore them a few years ago and was wearing them 24/7 for about 5 years or so and many years before that, but not daily.

I especially like the silk or nylon fabric panties, but love cotton as well. I would always imagine what they would be like for a woman when she wears them.

I am married and my wife won't let me wear them. I do have 2 pairs that are almost men-looking panties. I do wear them sometimes.

How can I stop this desire to wear panties.? Why am I wanting to wear them so badly.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
This is a simple fetish. While it is not harmful in itself, it is obviously causing problems between your wife and yourself. It sounds as though you obtain some sexual gratification from wearing them, but do you obtain the same effect of seeing someone else wear them. If this desire is causing too much discomfort, and you want to confront it, you cannot go wrong by seeing a therapist who specializes in this field.Health Question & Answer

You probably fantasize about where the panties touch a woman - but that is just it - you are living in fantasy when you could be living in reality. You need to actually care for your woman and respect her body. Enjoy the real thing at the right time and place and you will be much happier than just fantasizing about it. Fantasy worlds just tend to discourage real life and make emotional invalids. The way of the Lord cannot be improved.Health Question & Answer

Why stop.? In this world there are so few harmless things that you can derive pleasure from and wearing women's panties is as about as harmless as you can get. Your wife won't "let" you.? Try to get her involved maybe. Ask her to help you find some really nice ones....Health Question & Answer

Tell your wife you'll wear whatever you like. You don't dictate what undergarments she wears, do you.?Health Question & Answer

Sexual Transvestic Fetishism - Symptom, Cause and Treatment

Like most paraphilias, transvestic festishism begins in adolescence, usually around the onset of puberty. Most practitionners are male who are aroused by wearing, fondling, or seeing female clothing. Lingerie (bras, panties, girdles, corsets, slips), stockings, shoes or boots may all be the fetishistic object.

Men with transvestic fetishism are typically heterosexual, and many have been or are married. Transvestites tend to believe that they manifest both male and female personalities. Cross-dressing allows them to display their feminine personality but generally they dress and present themselves as males. Transvestites may or not have the desire to become transsexual, which involves living as a member of the opposite sex.

It is difficult to assess the prevalence of transvestic fetishm in the general population, given that individuals carry out their fetishistic behaviour in private. The fetish, by itself, is usually not associated with criminal behaviour although it may combined with other fetishes paraphilias or disorders that result in criminal behaviour.

Transvestic fetishism is a disorder only if it causes distress, results in impairment of some type, or involves "daredevil" behavior likely to lead to injury, loss of a job, or imprisonment. Transvestites also cross-dress for reasons other than sexual stimulation, for example, to reduce anxiety, to relax, or, in the case of male transvestites, to experiment with the feminine side of their otherwise male personalities.
Diagnostic Criteria for 302.3 Transvestic Fetishism

* Over a period of at least 6 months, in a heterosexual male, recurrent, intense sexually arousing fantasies, sexual urges, or behaviors involving cross-dressing.
* The fantasies, sexual urges, or behaviors cause clinically significant distress or impairment in social, occupational, or other important areas of functioning.

Generally there is a moderate to severe coexisting personality disturbance. Frequently the person experiences considerable anxiety and depression, which he or she may attribute to the inability to live in the role of the desired sex.
Treatment of Transvestic Fetishism

Treatment typically involves psychotherapy aimed at uncovering and working through the underlying cause of the behavior. As with most disorders in this category, other issues may arise as treatment progresses and should be addressed.Health Question & Answer
