Mind jolts?????????????????!

Question: Mind jolts.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?
i have had these 'mind jolts' as i call them for the past few years. it feels like a short burst of electricity that zaps in my brain and sometimes my calves and forearms. they happen only at night or when im relaxing and its quiet or im zoned in on something and it usually happens when i hear a creek in the house. i have taken antidepressants for a while (like five or six years) and i stopped about four to five months ago. its not as frequent as when i was on the pills but it still happens. its not so much as like a problem as it is a nuisance. im fifteen so idk if its hormonal i think it is. i mentioned it to my doctor but he just either ignored it or avoided it but i didnt get an answer (hes strange) so i just wanted an outside opinion as to why it happens and what it is.Health Question & Answer

I get that too every so often. I've taken Lexapro for about 4 years. My doctors have all just stared at me and said Hmm when I tried to explain it. Sometimes it happens when I'm trying to fall asleep, or when I am sitting really still. Very annoying! It's just a side effect you have to deal withHealth Question & Answer

Suspect it is 'electric shock phenomenon' and not uncommon with SSRIs. They can last up to a year after stopping the medication. Yup!!Health Question & Answer
