Is this about you.? If you are having thoughts of suicide that is a strong symptom of depression. If you are having more than just thoughts, like urges to kill yourself, that is a serious symptom and indicates that the severity of Depression is much greater.
If you have planned how you would kill yourself and have the means to do that, you need to go to the Emergency Room of a Hospital to get checked out. If you need to get on medication, they can start you on that and set up arrangements for you to see a doctor on an outpatient basis. You need to stay safe so that you don't hurt yourself.

It's possible, however, long time untreated depression could easily mimic one having suicidal thoughts. Sadness is a very lonely feeling.
