OK guys I'm not so much of a outgoing person I've been staying home for well almost like ever since 2006, I get out only to go grocery shopping

But my question is why am I all of a sudden having these unwanted irrational thoughts.? I'm very concerned now I think I'm going crazy!! what do you guys think I should do to solve this problem.?Health Question & Answer

AHH!! ive wondered this for myself. ive had simalar problems to this the only thing is they happened even before i started staying home alot.
one of the odd things is ive developed SEVERE TERRIBLE ocd and ive been staying home alot over the past year and i do think that has played a part.
i think by staying in the house all the time you kinda create yoru own little world sand feel safe and comfterable in it. often times loners feel weird and akward about staying home all the time and often embarrased so they create things subconsially to help them deal wiht some problems which coud be talking to yourself outloud or even making someone up completley to "talk" to.
maybe seeing a therapist could help you further yoru understanding about this. i think it could help you and help you to get a grip on what you wana do about it.
good luck to you.Health Question & Answer

I think we all get into phases like that. Sometimes I just sit back and wonder if we're really here. Maybe I'm crazy too! I just thought it was something we do every once in a while. But if you're really concerned, I'd say go out and get some fresh air. Meet new people, or see a doctor.
but it probably isn't good to stay inside all the time. it's lonely, you need people to help you through lifeHealth Question & Answer

my cousin had a similar problem. he'd see things that weren't there, but his mind convinced him they were real and he went absolutely mad.
please see a doctor.

your mind may be starving to have some social contact with people and such are creating something like an "imaginary friend" try calling a friend or familyHealth Question & Answer

I'm sorry I can't help, the best I can do is relate to you. I quit hanging out with friends and all about 2 years ago, and ever since I've been a severe recluse, I leave my house about once a month, I seem to be sinking more and more into depression and anxiety, always trying to convince myself I'm going insane, or that normal thoughts I've always had are now somehow signs of craziness.

Maybe you are just having some panic disorders, and or are just having to much free time to think about stuff that you wouldn't ordinarily think about.Health Question & Answer

yes it can cause psychological affects on you because not being social, not interacting with people can make you into a different person. when you see people on the street and they say something to you, you most likely wont know what to do because you havent done it for so long. its not healthy to stay inside alone all the time you need to get out, interact with people, have another human presence around. your mind is just trying to make up for the lack of interaction in your life by having random thoughts
go out
