Question: Weird Obsessions - need a awser to it.?
hey
i was once diagnosed with Apsburges syndrome
but ever since i knew about it i have these weird obessions
like when i was a young lad i used to wire plugs ( the 240V house one) but now i find that boring and keep wanting to rewire our house :S, when i got a car i kept lifiting the bonet up and just staring at the engine or i would just sit in the car and start the engine and sit there
im very creative all of a sudden
ive managed to wire up 6 car speakers 1 sub woffer (800w_ and a JBL amp to my computer, i have no idea how i knew how to do it, but im powering it all by a battery chargr
have i some spechial talent or am i just usefull
any ideas.?

i take apart computers just so i can put them back together again
i like to use my hands with fiddly things
seriously is this bad signs or just normal ladish stuff

I used to do the same thing when I was a teenager. It's normal for a lot of young guys to take stuff apart to see how they work, and fun to put them back together.
This is actually a good sign; there are many good careers open to people who are handy with machines and tools. There's absolutely nothing weird. I consider a talent like that VERY useful. And so would a lot of people.Health Question & Answer

from what i know of asbergers syndrome,it often goes hand in hand with a savant talent such as your electrical talent and interest. as long and you are happy with what you are doing and can avoid blowing any thing up, i think you're ok. i've taken many things apart and not many have gone back together. just have fun.Health Question & Answer
my friends grandson has Aspurges Syndrome and what your doing is very common. He is like this. he is very inquisitive and likes to have everything in order, this means he likes to see how things work etc. It is a gift and dont worry about itHealth Question & Answer
