As I am also in High School, I would personally suggest taking free time for yourself. I enjoy just sitting at the park or in my room by myself just to get some fresh air for once. i understand the hassle (teachers not understanding or being cooperative, kids acting childish, lunch food making you gag) its all apart of life and this is a quick stage that you have to make it through. I will tell you not to slack off freshman year...although some may say its not that challenging, it is still the year that can put you ahead or behind everyone else. Just keep time to yourself and use a calendar or schedule to keep track of due dates and such. Go to school basketball games and other sports. That is a good way to keep old friends and to make new ones. Be open and supportive of new ideas but don't be afraid to be yourself. Good Luck! I wish you the best...Health Question & Answer

I stressed myself out way too much about high school work. You don't have to make straight A's to get into college, by the way. I thought you did, so I pretty much made A's in everything, only to find that all scholarship applications and colleges want people with descent grades and a lot of extracurricular activities. Don't kill yourself with high school work, just get it done as well as you can. Try to get into clubs (academic, I mean; not bars), play sports, do volunteer work, etc. Don't waste all your time on school work.Health Question & Answer

The best thing you can do is time management.

Manage your time, plan out your assignments. Do them when they are assigned. Most stress is caused from procrastinating.

IF the classes are too hard talk to your councilor. Your best bet if it gets bad is to talk to your councilor, they will be able to help you.

Laugh, laughing helps relieve stress.

just make sure your you are putting forth your best efforts in class and you will inevitably be rewarded for that. as for other things i would honestly suggest just living easy and letting things happen at a natural pace. whether you realize it or not theres gonna be a lot of social awkwardness but if you just use your noggin every now and then and definetely dont overanalyze things you will be fine. try to enjoy high chool and being a kid. dont let the work stress you too much but make sure you arent wating any of your potential by getting lazy and you should be great.Health Question & Answer

if it's only the school work try to plan a schedule for all your homeork throughout the work so you don't feel overhelmed. Find something that can calm you down
i know that is really vague but everyone has there thing for me its just going outside to get the mail and enjoy the outside,
once you find it, it will feel very nice, during a break in your work do that and it will help

really.? that's odd, freshman year is not really supposed to be hard. i can't imagine how you can handle junior, THAT is supposed to be the stressful year.
