Question: Is our relationship TOO 'perfect'.?
i have been with my boyfriend 10 years this year. im 25 and madly in love with him. he is an FDNY firefighter and since 9/11 after losing alot of people close to both of us & him having a ceiling collapse on him, he has changed his out look on life & really lives for the moment. last year when we were engaged we broke up for 2 months after i lost my dad(who was also a firefighter) i couldn't deal with it and i knew it wasn't fair on him so i broke up with him, but he was there for me all the way through it. we are back together now and he has told me he never wants to lose me again & he really wants us to get married but i thought i needed more time after the loss of my dad, but now i really wanna marry him. he is amazing to me he treats me like im the only girl in the world and will sometimes even sing to me, at a party or somewhere. i fall more in love with him every time i see him & know that i will NEVER leave him again. im just scared of being this happy as my whole life has been a whir wind of drama, being the youngest in a big family with older siblings, alcoholics in the family, fights,losing a baby,most my family are firefighters so i've been to alot of funerals & i also lost my brother a few years ago & lost my mom 2 years ago etc. How do i go about giving him hints that i wanna marry him. im scared something bad is going to take all this happiness away from me.Health Question & Answer

Your relationship sounds like a strong, healthy one. You will always worry about him because of all the firefighters and family you have lost which is very sad. He has been there for you through all this, and it doesn't sound like he is going anywhere. omg r u serious!! UR RELATIONSHIP IS ADORABLE. ITS A GOOD THING THAT U BOTH LOVE EACH OTHER SO MUCH. its just that because hes a firefighter i dont mean 2 get it wrong but like u sed coz alot of ur family r firefighters they die alot due to various fire reasons. so its just that coz ur bf is a firefighter maybe if u loose him u wont be able 2 cope with life coz u love him so much.
