Question: Am I being too dramatic.?

I have a whale named WhaleyJean and lately WhaleyJean passed away. I went to feed him in the ocean shore one night before going off to bed and I found his upon the shore dead. It was a horrible experience for me and I stayed home from job past 2 days. also, I have been depressed and people are telling me I'm taking this too seriously and get over it it's just a whale. I feel even more hurt when they say this to me. Am I being too dramatic.? I've taken care of this whale for about 13 years.Health Question & Answer

You aren't taking this too seriously, imo. Geez, this whale meant a lot to you! A lot of people get callous this way when a pet dies. They just don't understand. Give yourself time to grieve. You'll have to get back to work & tough it out, but it will get better in time. I didn't know it was legal to feed whales, honestly.Health Question & Answer
