Feeling like a loser after loosing job.. help.?!
Question: Feeling like a loser after loosing job.. help..?
I lost my job a few days ago due to attendance, however I have been ill and on fmla, in fact i was in the hospital for a week before this job loss happened.. however Florida is an "at will" state so the employer can let you go at anytime for any reason.
I have all these feelings that I don't know what to do with. I am a single mom of 3 who has worked for 20 years. I am scared, mad, sad, I feel very hopeless.
I have applied for unemployment and food stamps to help until I can find work that wants to hire a person with health conditions.
I guess what I need to know has anyone else been through this.? How did you cope.? Is this grieving period normal or am I just feeling sorry for myself. I have too many emotions right now to really sort through them.
Any sincere help is appreciated.Health Question & Answer

Perhaps you have had feelings kept at bay when you were busy and now you have a lot of time to think they may be catching up on you. also not having a job you will feel you have no purpose and possibly start to feel slightly depressed. Fill your day with activities and try to be active. Good luck in finding a new job.Health Question & Answer
