Why do people who suffer from borderline personality disorder tend to have suicidal thoughts?!

Question: Why do people who suffer from borderline personality disorder tend to have suicidal thoughts.?
Answers:
-first just the same as someone with ocd having obsessive thoughts. It comes with the disorder. Like with depression.
-second the emotional swings are so intense it is hard to remember or believe it was or will ever be possible to feel any other way. Many who comit suicide who aren't bpd do so to stop the pain not because they want to be dead. For borderlines the most severe feelings you could begin to comprehend happen often with no insight that they will ever stop.
- Some individuals with bpd are manipulative and couple that with the fear of abandonment and being alone some would consider suicide attempts as a call for help and or to prevent others from going away... though this is not the usual reason despite what so many seem to think of borderlines.
-The emotions are just so strong. Strong emotions with lack of feeling things could ever change leads many to suicide. That is a way of life for us.
-Chronic emptiness. Feeling passionless about life and dead inside uncertain and empty about goals makes life seem pointless.
