Someone help, please? How do you stay on Withdrawal?!

Question: Someone help, please.? How do you stay on Withdrawal.?
I've had serious pain in my ear, and it was swelled shut. After a while, it started to hurt so much that i went into the ER.

After four agonizing hours of WAITING, they finally seen me.

.... this was four days ago. The doctor gave me Vicodin.
I'm a little scared right now.
After two days including with perscription ear drops, i finally started to feel better.

It was an amazing feeling, actually. Almost like your floating...

But that's the problem.

Yesterday, i took two. I wasn't in much pain, but i liked it.
..And today i took one.
There were 30 pills, there's now 23.

I was thinking about taking another, but i'm really scared.

I don't want to end up like House.... And i don't mean that in a sarcastic way.

SO!
I want to stay on the withdrawal thing for getting it out of my system, because it's like my body wants it instead of needing it.

How do you stay on withdrawal.?

I don't wanna be a freaken addict!!!Health Question & Answer

Answers:
You're doing the right thing by wanting to not be addicted to these pills. If you are no longer in pain, dump the pills in the toilet and flush them. If you are still in pain, contact your physician and tell them that you think you may be becoming addicted to your medication. They will prescribe you something else that is less addictive.

Why they gave you 30 pills for your ear, I don't know.Health Question & Answer

You haven't been on it that long throw them out and don't look back. You won't go through withdrawal it's only been a few days. Throw them out and you will be fine.Health Question & Answer

You would have to be on them long term to get withdraws your 30 pills will not do that if you take them right.Health Question & Answer

You are not addicted haven taken 6 Vicodin NO way. It would take a lot more than that to get addicted. If you have NEVER taken pain pill prior to this go back to taking them ONLY as prescribed, finish them and you will be fine. If you are not use to opiates and you take 2 you are going to feel a little high. You didn't take with other meds or alcohol did you. Follow prescriptions, don't mix drugs you'll be okay. God Bless ReggieHealth Question & Answer

Believe me when i say that you do not want to get addicted to opiates. i had the misfortune to have to use these medications during two periods in my life for extended periods of time because of injury to my back and broken right clavicle. the medication is a Godsend for pain, but if you're not in pain, put them away and save them for when you are, ie instead of having to wait 4 hrs in er. they are highly addictive and the withdrawal can have serious side effects, both mental and physical.Health Question & Answer

As long as you continue taking it as prescribed you won't suffer any withdrawal effects. But after taking more than prescribed you have to be certain that you do take one as prescribed and then another. If you have no more pain then throw them away. You have discovered the reason why there are so many addicts and you should be very proud of yourself for making the decision not to continue abusing the medication. If you need professional advice you can always talk to your pharmacist he is the best one to advise you about the medication and any problems you have. GOOD FOR YOU!Health Question & Answer
