Adrenaline rush, anxiety?!

Question: Adrenaline rush, anxiety.?
I have posted this before but I am not sure what is going on with me. It started in Dec. I get a tingling sensation, like an adrenaline rush of being scared. My heart races. I feel like I have a lump in my throat. I also feel like I lose my train of thought. I have had an EKG, MRI of head, blood work, ECHO, 24 hr, holter monitor. The doctor says that it is SVT. But the Er told me that it was a panic attack. I am taking 25 mg of Lopressor 2 times a day. But I still get these sensations...almost like someone has scared me to death. Does anyone have any advice.? Or experienced the same thing.?.?.? Help!!!Health Question & Answer

What kind of doctor said SVT.? If it was a cardiologist, I would believe him. You may have an autonomic response problem that is something like an adrenaline rush/panic attack that then leads to SVT. I would look into getting off of the lopressor and onto Toprol or Propanenol. I would also look into seeing a cardioelectrophysiologist and see about getting an EP study done.
Follow up with the other doctors. 31 is a pretty average age to have SVT it isn't an old age thing or blocked arteries or anything, it is an electrical issue in your heart or itis an autonomic nervous system problem. Yes, it really feels like there is something wrong, because something is wrong. When you get the feeling try to bear down as if you are having a bowel movement, this can sometimes break the SVT or slow down your heart rate. Look up "Vagal Maneuvers" online.
also cut out all caffeine, get at least 7 hours of sleep a night, and don't drink more than one or two alcoholic drinks. also if you smoke stop ( nicotine is a stimulant ) and do not take any cold medicines ( like sudaphed etc. ) as these can also cause you to go back into SVTHealth Question & Answer

Yes, I've experienced this and it turned out to be hyperthyroidism. Get your thyroid checked to rule that out.Health Question & Answer

I have anxiety and I take clonozopam .

My triggers are:
1.Going out of the house
2.being around a large group of people
3. even thinking of going out of the house.
4. I can's sit still
5. I can't concentrate reading a book

Perhaps you should talk to your Dr. about changing your meds. He's (She's) the one who knows you best not any of the people from this site.
