I wouldn't attempt to self diagnose if I were you. If you seriously have worries about how you are feeling or have things that are worrying you about your mental health I'd see a professional about it. Good luck.Health Question & Answer

If you have a sense that they are very distinct from your own, that sounds like a situation to look into. It sounds like a disconnect. Maybe think hard about something that would have caused you to want to go into a sort of self denial, or to distance yourself from, well, yourself. An example of the thoughts would be helpful. I am just a person who has analyzed myself pretty honestly overall, I am definitely no doctor. That you have come to such a conclusion that you question if it is schizophrenia, then you are not really "believing" that the thoughts are not yours are you.? You are still in control. With so little info, I have just tossed a couple thoughts at you, I don't mean to sound simplistic, I just wanted to offer something on the info provided.

Why are people so adament about this person not considering what people say here.? They are on the computer describing their situation precisely, they are asking a question, they apparently are not afraid of considering the possible answers given. This is not some untouchable subject between non-medical degreed people. People tell her what not to trust as if this is not an attempt to sound like an authority. Maybe they can figure their own problem out, maybe not, but the evidence so far suggest that is probable.Health Question & Answer

Of course not, so don't worry! All of us have one or two symptoms of just about everything, coz after all, 'normal' is only a rough guideline, but it's when the graph goes up the wall and onto the ceiling you can start to wonder if things maybe aren't right.Health Question & Answer

If you only have one symptom of a disorder then its unlikely that you have it, but as someone else has already pointed out, if you are concerned about your mental health you really need to talk to your dr about it. Dont trust online tests or people that claim to be able to diagnose. Good luck.Health Question & Answer

Please get to a doctor, this is nothing to try to self-diagnose. If you don't have schizophrenia, it may be something else that you need to be treated for.Health Question & Answer

probably not.. usually you need to have a majority of the symptoms. if you're seriously concerned, get a psychiatric evaluation done.Health Question & Answer
