Answers:
It's a big challenge, and can be very stressful at times, I have often thought of Bi-Polar Disorder as being on a roller coaster because of the lows and highs, the best thing you can do is read everything you can find on Bi-Polar, knowledge is power, so arm yourself with it to help you understand why the person may be feeling or acting a particular way and how to deal with situations while being as supportive as possible, it is important for them to take any medication their DR. has prescribed, as prescribed, they should eat a good balanced diet, drink only decaffeinated drinks, irregular sleep patterns are common also, so trying to establish a regular sleep and wake time can be beneficial, if there is one near you join a support group, the best to you, Mercee.Health Question & Answer

It is tough, but manageable depending on your love for the person.
If you really love them and just cant be without them, you are able to overlook the times they become mad or angry and ask them to calm down and ask whats wrong and be comforting when they need it. Or you can back off and let them cool down. But when it is all said and done, the love is there and strong. It works, but you have to know how to deal with it :)Health Question & Answer

Unpleasant to say the least. Really it depends on the person, situation, and severity of the disorder.Health Question & Answer
