Grown folk! a little insight, please?!

Question: Grown folk! a little insight, please.?
So I am a freshman in college, and this past summer I was stoked about going away to college, I was ready for all the parties, friends, blah blah blah. But this is my second semester here and I am still waiting for the fun to start. I have always kind of been a home-body but I normally don't have trouble going out and having fun with friends back home, it's just a matter of wanting to or not. But now all I want to do is go home and be with my family. I have always been close with my sisters and I have the best mother anyone could ask for, and I love being with them, but I feel like i'm robbing myself of the true college experience when I go home a lot of weekends. But the truth is i'm really not into the whole party scene, yes I will go out once in a while with my rugby friends, but I just haven't met anyone here yet that I have a real connection with, like I do back home with my family. So, I guess I'm asking if this isn't healthy.? Is it wrong of me to want to be with my family when I could be at school going out and meeting new people.? Or is it something I'm still growing out of.? And did any of you go through this.?Health Question & Answer

this is normal... ive been in the army for a year and a half and i wish i could go hang out with my family and friends back home... you have four years of college and there will be plenty of time for friends there... but spend time with your family because you never know if you will have to move farther away for a job or something... but dont change anything if you are happy with what you are doingHealth Question & Answer
