Question: I need tips on how to keep my nerves calm during stressful situations!.?
I am not good with calming my nerves down. It always takes control over me, and makes me do bad in whatever I do. Like for instance, I used to swim in High School, and when I stepped up on the blocks my nerves would get the best of me. I would try not to think about it but I always do and my heart beats so fast and I shake. Then I would end up doing badly because of it. When i took my written driver's test, i took it 6 times to pass, and some of them were due to nerves. When I finally passed my nerves got controlled. But now I am going to take my driver's test soon, like about a month, and I am afraid that I won't be able to control them because it is future determining (trust me it is and you don't want to know the entire story!) and stuff like that. I need to know if there are any other techniques besides taking a deep breath and trying to relax and not think about it. If you do that would be great! Thanks!Health Question & Answer
