It is completely normal. you sink deeper and deeper into the pit of hell...and you cant dig UPWARDS so a shovel doesn't even help. The best methodis DISTRACTION. yes. Distraction. Now I know when you are depressed you don't want to do ANYTHING...but a way I deal with is oppose the feeling, put on HAPPY music and make myself get into it...you have to push yourself out of it......go for a walk, vent out on your ipod, use SOMETHING to channel the feeling to get yourself out of that pit, however negative music/TV/movies/media will only put you deeper in and "fuel" the depression and the problem...counteract it instead of feeding it. It's been a long time for me...and this method works for me. I've suffered from depression since I was about 14 years old and im 24 now and still have "days" "weeks" and luckily no longer "months" I hope things get better...Health Question & Answer

i hate it when i get like that. that's what used to happen to me all the time. but now.. i've come to realize things in a new perspective. one night i was so overly upset, that it stressed me out so bad. then all of a sudden a thought came to me. i can't do anything about this problem.. it either happened in the past and i can't do anything about it.. or your afraid something is going to happen in the future, which really you have no idea it could happen. none of your worries over really happen NOW.. so stop being depressed and live for now. not the past or the futureHealth Question & Answer

I think the more you dwell on yourself the more you will tend to forget about other more important things in your life. I guess all you can do is focus more on other things and actually do something else. Eventually this self absorption should go away.Health Question & Answer

Yes it is normal.....because all physical & emotional sensations stem from the muscle which matters most!! the brainHealth Question & Answer
