Answers:
If you are Bipolar the Wellbutrin may make you hypomanic or even full blown manic. What to look for is an increase in energy.... not like a good day but like you suddenly take on all sorts of projects or new hobbies, exercise a lot more than usual, etc. Your depression will completely disappear and you will feel as though you are on top of the world. You may spend more money that usual and make bad decisions like stopping your meds (though they will feel right at the time). You may also be more sexual, Want more sex and/or want to have sex with people you would not otherwise want to have sex with. You may masturbate many times in a day. Keep your doctors appraised of any changes on mood, feeling, and behavior.Health Question & Answer

I'm bipolar 1 - discovered by taking Wellbutrin.Health Question & Answer

I was put on wellbutrin when I was 16 for depression and it really was a good depression medicine. A lot of people have made good comments about it. It can be used for depression, to quit smoking, and in some people weight loss. I can't remember if it's the only one or if it's one of a few of antidepressants that don't have to be tapered (weaned) off of you. I don't know what they will do if you are bipolar, I wouldn't think it would effect anything but I may be wrong. My sister is bipolar, high functioning autistic, and has tourettes and she has a antidepressant med but I don't know what it is. Unless you start having feelings of suicide or even worsening depression then it should be fine and if it's not good to take with bipolar disorder, the dr. will let you know!Health Question & Answer
