See: WITHDRAWALS: PAGE K - ADVERSE WITHDRAWAL EFFECTS: SSRI's , page Z.22, the first 3 pages, page R (and eventually the rest of section 2, if for depression; see index otherwise) at http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris also consider http://www.theroadback.org/workbook.htm on Sertraline/Zoloft.
Anecdotally, I am informed that it is not so bad, when compared with Lexapro, or a benzodiazapene. Take at least 2 weeks of slow weaning off; preferably 3, or 4. If planning to use St. John's wort, wait until your tapered dose of Zoloft is below 50%, before beginning.Health Question & Answer

Go off of it slowly, a little lower dose every week or so, when I went off of it, I got a bit shaky and had kind of an electric like shock going through my body, that goes away though. also had a hard time concentrating, but that could of been just me. Good luck.Health Question & Answer
Make sure you taper off. Take a slightly lower dose every day. That will minimize the withdrawal symptoms.
