my best friend(16) has been bulimic around 2 years. she lost her mom 4 years ago and her dad doesn't care for her. she lives with her best friend and her mom. her friends mom knows she has bulimia, but hasn't really did anything about it. there is this teacher she loves alot but doesn't really talk to her. she is a nutrition teacher and she use to suffer from bulimia also. i have emailed and texed this teacher a few times about my friend, but i haven't told her my friends name but she knows. the teacher wants me to go and talk to her.she is really nice. i don't want to rat my friend out but i want to save her from killing herself. what do i say to this teacher.? what should i do.? what will happen to my friend.? please help!!!

It may seem hard, but you have to help your friend out. If in the end she were to die, you would regret not telling and helping her. They may put her in the hospital, do a psych evaluation on her. But in the end she needs the help. Bulimia is a serious thing. She is doing major damage. She may be mad at you for doing it but that is a risk you are going to have to take.Health Question & Answer
