Firstly, you need to calm down- I got stressed just reading that! Secondly, write down all things you need/ want to do. Perhaps put the top priority things at the top of the list. Do the easiest first, or whatever suits you best. Stop trying to accomplish so many things at once, because you could end up failing them all. When I was at college, I was trying to study, work nearly full-time, do housework, cook for my family, etc and it all became too much for me and I ended up with mental health problems. My depression became worse and I ended up with nothing. So you need to tackle one problem at a time or you will go into overdrive i.e. you'll make yourself ill in one way or another.

Try to get some sleep. If you can't, you should go to the doctors as you may have insomnia, which will need to be sorted out. Take one day at a time.

With regards to your GED test, make sure you have studied and done everything to your ability. Then you have nothing to worry about. If you haven't, then try to make up for lost time and just do as much studying as you can before then. If you do fail, you can always take it again. Don't worry about failing because we all fail at something at some point in our life. It makes us stronger and who we are today.

Don't worry about not finishing school and Military Training because that's in the past and you can't change it.

Ask around friends and family for any jobs they might know of. Look online and in your local newspapers. You could even update your CV and take it round your local shops and restaurants asking for work. Just keep going. Remember, there's a recession going on at the moment, so it's not entirely your fault you're out of work, and there are loads of people in the same boat as you- some are professionals.

Apply for University. Look on their website or go to the University to find out how to apply and for open days. Maybe apply for a few universities to keep your options open. If you are lacking the qualifications needed to get into University, perhaps go to college or back to school (sorry, I'm English, I don't know how the Education System works in your country). It's good that you've already got your Financial Aid sorted out- well done.

Once that is out of the way, sign up to a local gym. Go whenever you have the time, but do try to keep a routine. Perhaps you could ask a friend to go with you. Don't forget to have a good healthy diet too.

You're young now and in 10 years time you probably won't even remember this. That's one way of looking at it. :)

Good luck! :) Email me if you need a chat. :) :) :)Health Question & Answer
