ok, yesterday my friend called crying. she said her dad was hitting her again. so thats why she hurted herself by cutting. i told her that i was on my way over there and we will go somewhere where we will just escape for a little while. so when i went over there her dad said she left to the state capital. so i walk to the state capital downtown. i couldnt spot her anywhere. i kept looking but i couldnt find her. as i was heading to some stairs i walked down and saw my friend sitting in the corner hurting herself. i ran to hug her but she just cried and raned away from me. what should i do.? im only 15...Health Question & Answer

They are professionals in these areas, and I am sure that they will give very helpful pointers, and persuade your friend to go along. You can also seek a teacher for help. Try to talk Your friend out of cutting herself, as this does not help to solve the problem. Numbing herself is no use. Seek for help to find a solution to the problem. Well your friend is depressed. I mean this really upsets me because I wish teenagers would find other ways of coping with their problems. Thats besides the point i suppose. I think you should talk to her parents about it, weither she gets angry with you or not. What she is doing to her self is stupid and dangerous. Try and talk her into going to see a psychologist where she can learn how to cope with depression and anxiety and get on meds for it. Its the only thing you can do!Health Question & Answer
I self harmm too and you should talk to your friend and tell her that you are there for her and that youu can help :). Be there for her definitely. its really bad that she is in an abusive environment at home, with an idiot dad. I say, if its ok with her, get some professional help so that she isn't in that environment, or have her stay with you as long as possible.Health Question & Answer
I think the best choice you have right now is to call CPS on the parents! You need to talk to them and the police and tell them everything you know! If you don't your friend is going to keep getting abused my her father and hurting herself.Health Question & Answer
